Concept Studio is a fresh, inviting and flexible space perfect for co-working, pop-ups, workshops, community and creative events. Outlined below are our general hire guidelines and FAQ.
Am I the right fit for Concept Studio?
We place great importance on supporting small local business and creatives at Concept Studio. We are all about providing a platform to those individuals who have something unique to offer this little corner of Grange.
Ours is not a space for multi-nationals or multi-levels.
If you are a small local business, sole trader, artist, creative or someone who has something special to share with the community then you are the right fit. A space to market, sell, create and share.
Can I sell products at Concept Studio?
Absolutely! Our studio is the cutest little shop front which is ready for you to add your products and unique style. The space is a white canvas featuring built-in and fully adjustable shelving, room for a small window display and window signs, with front and back door. The north facing building measures 5 mtrs deep and 3 mtrs wide, has a front veranda and fills with beautiful natural light.

+ Green plants to be used as props

+ Fire extinguisher & basic first aid kit
+ There is a cold water tap and sink in the studio with soap and hand towels provided
+ A shared toilet is located in the back courtyard – shared with our neighbouring shop.
+ Additional items available for a small additional charge include additional shelving, hanging racks, table cloths and other small items to set up the space for retail, display or workshop purposes.
Can I view the space before I book Concept Studio?
We are not able to meet people to view the space prior to hire. However, you can get a feel for the space via our image gallery page. Also, you can easily see into the room through the front window if you wanted to do a drive-by.
Cleaning & Maintenance
When you hire the studio it is agreed that you will make every effort to ensure that the space is left in a tidy and clean state just as it was delivered to you. Cleaning equipment is provided and located in the kitchen cupboards.
During the hire period, it is required that you keep the premises in good condition (reasonable wear and tear is accepted). You may be charged a professional cleaning or damage fee in the event of excessive spillage, broken items or marks on surfaces.
Please report any incidents, damage or problems to your contact at Concept Studio as soon as possible. Associated costs for damage to the space or items will be charged to your credit card provided, for reasonable repair or replacement. You will be notified prior to any charges being made.
Studio Key & Securing the Premises
Prior to your studio hire, the studio key is to be collected as arranged with Lauren and Kyrie. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to organise.
You are responsible for the key for the term of the studio hire. Lost keys will incur a fee of $350 to cover the replacement of lock and new key cutting, which is payable by you the Hiree.
When leaving the premises both rear doors must be completely locked and front and rear door keys left on the hook on the back door. Before leaving, turn off the main lights and air conditioner, and lock the main door handle upon exiting, ensuring this door is secure before leaving.
It is recommended that you arrange 10 million Public Liability Insurance for your own business and event. Concept Studio’s insurance covers the building only and is not responsible for accidents or injuries sustained during appointments, classes or workshops.

Access & Time Management
It is important that you work within the time-frame that is allocated to you. If you need access outside of your hire time block, please seek approval for access as there may be others hiring or utilising the space.
Online Bookings & Payments
Please use the booking calendar here to check studio availability and to book a time block. Payment for the studio hire is to be made at the time when making your booking. Our online payment system is managed by Stripe with each transaction being encrypted and secure. All information including your credit card is transferred only over HTTPS with up to 256-bit encryption. Our servers are verified PCI compliant.

+ Once booked in we do not offer refunds, however rescheduling of your studio hire is permitted within a 30 day period, subject to availability and with 7 days notice. Contact us to reschedule.
Workshops and events will be promoted on the Concept Studio noticeboard, which will be placed in the front door. Weather permitting, events will also be listed on the outside blackboard located on the left side of the building
For all workshops, classes and events being held at Concept Studio, we also offer an optional promotion service to help plug your event across our own social media channels as well as the What’s On page on our website. If interested, when making your booking please complete the form provided so we have the right amount of information to accurately promote your workshop.
Please be mindful that promotion is a complimentary service and is not intended to replace the need for you to promote your workshop to your own target market and customer database. Please consider this service as a little extra way to plug your event. Concept Studio does not take any responsibility for the success of your event, we simply hire and share our beautiful studio with you.
